Advocate Honour Mkushi

Group Chairman

Advocate Mkushi is a leading lawyer in Zimbabwe specializing in Finance, Commercial, Property Mining and Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate restructures. He is involved in big litigation as well.

He has sat on the Boards of over 30 corporates predominantly as the Chairman. He is a substantial shareholder in most of the companies he is currently involved in.

He is a happy family man who enjoys tennis, fishing, music and travel.

Sam Nyamhamba

Chief Executive Officer

With over 42 years’ experience in insurance underwriting and broking, Sam, a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, is the CEO of BRIGHT Holdings Zimbabwe. He has also received extensive Aviation and General insurance training locally, regionally and internationally.

Sam is a holder of an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe, a Fellow of the Institute Insurance of South Africa, Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and a Higher Certificate of Law (UNISA).

Bethrod Madziva

Chief Operating Officer

Bethrod has 21 years of short term insurance and risk management experience. His experience spans over all public and private industries and has provided a broad range of strategic risk advisory services. His key focus areas include strategic management planning and implementation of the company’s objectives.

He holds an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Business Studies Honours degree from the same university. He also holds an Associate Diploma from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ).

Lee Chitupa

Finance Director

Lee is a Chartered Accountant registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ). Lee holds a B Compt. (Hons) Degree with UNISA and BAcc (Hons) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She has over 16 years’ experience in Financial Management at executive level with 8 years in the insurance industry.

Alackias Gavure

Operations Director Employee Benefits Division

Alackias has 29 years’ experience in Employee Benefits Administration and consultancy services with distinguished technical expertise and exposure with various big Life, Pension and Administration organisations.

Alackias holds an Executive Diploma in Business Leadership, IIZ Associate Diploma (Long Term Insurance) and CII Diploma in Retirement Planning as well as COP in Short Term Insurance

Patrick Murambadoro

Business Development Manager

Patrick T. Murambadoro is a holder of Masters of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Technology, Management from the University of Zimbabwe. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing Management of South Africa. Patrick has vast experience in marketing gleaned over 28 years from various business sectors. He has done various insurance courses such as COP Long Term, COP Short Term and COP Trusteeship. While others offer good customer service, we assure our clients of unparalleled experiential service.

Innocent Muverengwi

Divisional Manager Short Term Insurance

Innocent holds a Master of Business Studies Degree from Mancosa and a Bachelor of Business Studies Honours Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII, UK) and a Diploma in Insurance from IIZ.

Innocent’s career in insurance started over 22 years ago, joining Sedgwick Insurance Brokers (now MARSH) as a Graduate Trainee.

His experience spans over all public and private industries providing a broad range of strategic risk advisory services. Innocent underwent specialist Aviation, Energy, Insurance and Risk Management training in the UK.

Sheba Takabinga

Client Relations Manager Employee Benefits Division

Sheba is a Client Relations Manager with the Employee Benefits Division. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from UNISA and Diplomas in Insurance and Computer Programming. Sheba has over 30 years of pension administration experience, having worked for various companies at senior management level.

Prosper Gumbeze

IT Manager

Prosper holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA-Finance) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a First Class Degree in BSc Information Systems Honours Degree from Midlands State University. He also holds a globally recognised ITIL Service Design Certificate and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN Global and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Prosper started his career at African Banking Corporation in 2011. He was the Senior IT Specialist at BancABC when he crossed over to Homelink in 2017 where he was leading the ICT department. He then joined MARSH in March 2021 as the IT Manager to provide strategic and technical direction for the implementation and maintenance of innovative, reliable and secure ICT solutions.
